Join us for the inaugural Fiji Day on the Coast 2026 , celebrating 56 years of Fiji’s independence. Fiji Day commemorates 10 October 1970, when Fiji became an independent nation. It is a day of cultural pride, identity, community and connection, and this special inaugural event brings that spirit to the Sunshine Coast. Everyone is welcome, including the wider Sunshine Coast community, the broader Pacific Islands community, members of the Fijian diaspora including iTaukei and Indo-Fijian communities, PALM workers and their families, and anyone who would like to experience and celebrate Fijian culture.…
