Join our High School Coolum Fast Track Production actors for their performance of Andrew Wright’s Hamelin. Hamelin is a darkly comic and thought-provoking retelling of the classic Pied Piper legend, set in a prosperous town built on the success of its booming cheese industry. Narrated by a young deaf orphan known only as "She," the story follows the citizens of Hamelin as they celebrate wealth, growth, and political success while turning a blind eye to inequality, greed, and those most in need. When a small rat problem rapidly spirals into a devastating plague, the town's self-serving mayor and influential business leaders find themselves powerless to stop the crisis.…
