Join us for live music, art and family-friendly activities to welcome hundreds of migratory shorebirds back to our coastline. They've just completed one of nature's most remarkable journeys. We're celebrating with one weekend packed with two fun-filled events Saturday 26 September at Fraser Park, Golden Beach Sunday 27 September at Cotton Tree Park, Maroochydore (pool end) Enjoy face painting, arts and clay craft, shorebird exhibits, a Welcome to Country with didgeridoo and storytelling from Kerry Neill, live music from Adam James, wildlife information, research freebies, education stalls, Night Eyes charity sausage sizzle and more.
